We are a Brazilian company specializing in reforestation and the management of planted forests, setting a new standard for the timber industry. Our approach integrates the preservation and restoration of forests, rivers, and lakes while fostering ecosystem resilience and enhancing the biodiversity of native flora and fauna.

We cultivate native species of the Atlantic Forest, overseeing and managing the entire process — from the careful selection of species, mother trees, seeds, and seedlings to the establishment and maintenance of forest stands — culminating in sustainably sourced wood delivered to the consumer.

Wood is a valuable resource that has been used by humanity for thousands of years. It is a renewable and low-carbon solution when produced responsibly, and it can reduce the dependence on materials such as steel and concrete, whose extraction and manufacturing have a negative environmental impact.

Corporate Governance

Symbiosis' corporate governance is based on the principles of transparency, fairness, accountability, and reliability in all its business and relationships, promoting ethical and transparent conduct while adhering to compliance processes. For Symbiosis, compliance means adhering to and implementing laws, rules, regulations, and both internal and external commitments. Therefore, its internal controls aim to protect the company and preserve its reputation through effective measures against corruption, defending free competition, and preventing losses and fraud. The company's corporate governance structure is organized as follows: the Executive Board, responsible for managing the company, and the Board of Directors, responsible for defining strategic guidelines and validating the company's policies and goals.

Open Letter

The forestry company Symbiosis Investimentos e Participações S.A. advocates for the creation of a public policy that exempts taxes on the reforestation of degraded areas with native Atlantic Forest species, inspired by the eucalyptus planting incentive policy that began in the 1970s. Based on its experience in reforesting 1,500 hectares in the region, Symbiosis proposes the large-scale recovery of the biome with tax incentives similar to those applied in Uruguay, aiming to provide both environmental and economic benefits for Brazil.
